Worker Dies After Fall from Kollupitiya Construction Site

A 27-year-old man from Talawakelle died on Monday, April 13th, after falling from the third floor of an under-construction multi-story building on C.V. Avenue in Kollupitiya. Initial investigations indicate the incident occurred when the worker slipped while installing an iron part using scaffolding. The victim's body has been placed in the mortuary at the Colombo National Hospital. The Kollupitiya Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
