Western Province North Crime Division Seizes Large Drug Hauls in Multiple Raids

The Western Province North Crime Division has conducted a series of successful raids targeting drug trafficking across the region, leading to the arrest of several suspects and the seizure of significant narcotics. Notable seizures include approximately 39 kilograms of 'ice' (methamphetamine) and 5 kilograms of Kerala ganja in Dematagoda, and over 5 kilograms of 'ice' along with 1.8 kilograms of heroin in Boralesgamuwa. Other operations in areas like Kadawatha and Kolonnawa also resulted in the confiscation of substantial amounts of 'ice' and the arrest of individuals. Investigations are ongoing into the suspects' alleged involvement in drug distribution networks.
