Vesak Dansals Registration Now Mandatory for Public Safety

The Director General of Health Services, Dr. Asela Gunawardena, has announced that all food stalls (Dansals) organized for the upcoming Vesak festival must be registered. This directive aims to ensure the public receives safe, clean, and quality food during the celebrations. Organizers are required to visit their local Medical Officer of Health (MOH) office to complete the registration and obtain necessary health guidelines. The registration process, which began on May 4th, is crucial for maintaining public health standards across the country.
