Underworld Figures Harak Kata and Kehelbaddara Padme Clash in Prison; Investigation Launched

A clash has reportedly occurred between notorious underworld figures Nandun Chinthaka Wickramaratne, alias “Harak Kata”, and Mandinu Padmasiri Perera, alias "Kehelbaddara Padme", while in prison custody at the Welisara high-security facility. The altercation, which is said to have taken place last night (22nd), resulted in minor injuries to Kehelbaddara Padme, who has since been admitted to the prison hospital for treatment. Prison authorities confirmed the incident and stated that officers intervened to control the situation. The Department of Prisons has launched a special investigation into the confrontation, with an Assistant Superintendent appointed to conduct an inquiry.
