Underworld Figure Thambili Lahiru's Middeniya Home Torched

The house belonging to notorious underworld figure Thambili Lahiru was set on fire in Middeniya last night (July 8th). Lahiru himself is currently detained at the Boossa High Security Prison. Reports indicate his mother was inside the house when the blaze broke out, but she escaped unharmed. The ancestral home, which had been unoccupied recently, sustained significant damage. Middeniya Police have launched an investigation into the arson attack, with the motive yet to be established.
