The individual was arrested on April 12, around 11:50 p.m., in front of the "Little Star" restaurant, after allegedly behaving in a disorderly manner and assaulting a Sri Lankan woman and other individuals. Police officers from Mount Lavinia, who intervened to control the situation, were also reportedly assaulted by the woman, who was believed to be under the influence of alcohol. She faces charges including assault, obstructing police duty, and theft. Bystander video footage reportedly captured the aggressive behavior, which lasted for nearly 30 minutes.
