Two Associates of 'Panadura Kudu Salindu' Arrested with Over LKR 1 Million in 'Ice'

In a significant operation, two close associates of notorious organized criminal and large-scale drug trafficker Salindu Malshitha, known as "Panadura Kudu Salindu," were arrested in the Payagala area. The arrests, made in the early hours of April 21st by the Walana Central Anti-Corruption Striking Force, targeted individuals identified as Patum (alias 'Peththa') and Kavindu (alias 'Kaviya'). Preliminary investigations revealed the suspects had been secretly residing in Nirmalawatta and Kumburugoda, distributing narcotics in surrounding regions. Authorities seized a total of 90,520 milligrams of 'Ice' (crystal methamphetamine) during the raid, with an estimated street value exceeding one million rupees. Patum was apprehended with 42,350 mg of the drug, while Kavindu was found with 48,170 mg.
