Toddler Dies in Mannar Three-Wheeler Accident

A tragic incident in Mannar yesterday afternoon resulted in the death of a one-and-a-half-year-old girl. The child was reportedly struck by a three-wheeler transporting bakery items in Turkisity village, located on the Thawulpadu-Tharapuram road. She sustained severe injuries and was rushed to Mannar Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment. The victim was a resident of Tharapuram, Mannar. Authorities have arrested the three-wheeler driver, and Mannar Police are conducting further investigations into the accident.
