TikTok founder Zhang Yiming has ascended to become Asia's richest person, surpassing Indian billionaire Gautam Adani. His net worth is now estimated at over $105 billion, driven by the significant valuation growth of his company, ByteDance, the parent of the popular app TikTok. This surge in wealth is largely attributed to the booming technology sector, particularly in social media and artificial intelligence. The latest rankings place Mukesh Ambani in third position. Zhang, aged 43, has experienced a remarkable increase in his fortune, which has grown more than eightfold since March 2019.
