Three-Wheeler Driver Fatally Shot in Dematagoda; Police Investigate

A three-wheeler driver has died following a shooting incident near the 'Kalu Palama' in Dematagoda. The 50-year-old victim, identified as a resident of Udugama, Galle, and a former army member, was shot with a pistol while traveling in his vehicle. He sustained severe injuries and was admitted to Colombo National Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police suspect the assailant may have approached from behind the three-wheeler. Investigations are currently underway to determine the motive and identify the perpetrators.
