Five Arrested in Brutal Ambalantota Murder; Victim Identified

Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the brutal murder of a 34-year-old man in Ambalantota's Mamadala area. The victim was reportedly shot and hacked to death inside his residence on a recent night, with his head subsequently severed and placed on a statue at Mamadala Junction. Police investigations indicate the murder was an act of revenge for a prior triple homicide. During the attack, a relative of the victim was also injured. The incident has caused unrest in the area.
