Three Arrested in Connection with Katana Murder

The Negombo Divisional Crime Investigation Bureau has arrested three suspects in connection with a murder that occurred in the Katana Police Division on August 28. The arrests were made on August 29, following an investigation into the alleged assault and killing of a man. Authorities apprehended the main suspect believed to have committed the murder, along with two individuals accused of aiding and abetting the crime. The suspects, aged 23, 47, and 49, were arrested in the Daluwakotuwa, Fathima Watta, and Kurana areas and have been handed over to the Katana Police.
