Tamil Nadu CM Vijay Holds Key Discussions with PM Modi in New Delhi

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Wednesday. This meeting marked CM Vijay's first official visit to the national capital since assuming office earlier this month. During the summit, CM Vijay submitted a memorandum detailing several key demands and concerns for Tamil Nadu, including the Mekedatu dam issue, fishermen arrests, and the Tamil invocation song row. The discussions also reportedly covered seeking financial assistance for welfare and infrastructure projects and other development initiatives. CM Vijay also expressed gratitude for the return of historical artifacts from Modi's recent Netherlands trip.
