Tamil Nadu CM Vijay Commemorates Mullivaikkal, Pledges Solidarity for Sri Lankan Tamils

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay issued a statement on his official X account on Monday, commemorating Mullivaikkal Remembrance Day. He stated, "We will carry the memories of Mullivaikkal in our hearts" and pledged to "always stand in solidarity for the rights of our Tamil kin living across the sea." The message serves as a remembrance of the victims of the final offensive of the Sri Lankan war, which concluded in 2009. Vijay also expressed solidarity with Tamil people globally on this occasion.
