SriLankan Airlines Secures New Handling Contracts in Dubai and Sydney

The Sri Lankan Cabinet has approved the awarding of new ground and cargo handling contracts for SriLankan Airlines at two major international airports. In Dubai, Dnata Company will provide passenger, ground, and cargo handling services at Dubai International Airport for a period of three years, with an estimated combined cost of AED 40.64 million. Concurrently, Menzies Aviation (Australia) Pty Ltd has been awarded a three-year ground handling contract for SriLankan Airlines operations at Sydney Airport, commencing May 1, 2026, valued at AUD 8.32 million. These approvals follow competitive procurement processes to ensure efficient service delivery for the national carrier.
