Sri Pada Pilgrimage Season Concludes on Vesak Poya; Sacred Relics to be Processed

The Chief Custodian of the Sri Pada Rajamaha Viharaya, Venerable Bengamuwe Dhammadinna Thero, has announced that this year's Sri Pada pilgrimage season will conclude on May 30th, the Vesak Full Moon Poya Day. Numerous religious programs have been organized at the Sri Pada Uda Maluwa in observance of Vesak. Following these rituals, on May 31st, the Sacred Relic Casket, Statue of God Saman, and divine insignia will be carried in a procession. This significant procession will travel via four routes to the Sri Pada Rajamaha Viharaya in Pelmadulla.
