Sri Lanka's Health Sector to Welcome 154 New Professionals

The Ministry of Health is scheduled to appoint 154 new health professionals across various categories tomorrow, October 10th. The official ceremony will commence at 11:00 AM at the Outpatient Department Auditorium of the National Hospital, Colombo. Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa will preside over the event, with Ministry Secretary Specialist Doctor Anil Jasinghe and other officials also in attendance. These appointments are intended to strengthen human resources and enhance the quality of health services nationwide. The new recruits include 69 Radiation Technicians and 10 Audiology Technicians, who have successfully completed their degrees and six-month training programs. Additionally, appointments will be made for Health Laboratory Assistants and Entomology Field Attendants within the Primary Semi-Skilled service category.
