Sri Lanka's Health and Mass Media Minister Attends 21st Asia Media Summit in Maldives

Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, departed for the Maldives on May 12 to participate in the 21st Asia Media Summit. The summit, which commenced on May 11 and runs until May 14, is being held at Villa Nautica in the Maldives. This international event convenes policymakers, media owners, professionals, and researchers from across Asia. In addition to Maldivian government representatives, the summit includes delegates such as Bangladesh's Minister of Information and Broadcasting, the Secretary General of BIMSTEC, and the Secretary General of SAARC.
