Sri Lankan Kabaddi Teams Claim Silver and Bronze at Asian Beach Games

Sri Lanka's beach kabaddi teams made a notable impact at the 6th Asian Beach Games held in Sanya, China. The Sri Lanka Women's Kabaddi team secured a silver medal, while the Sri Lanka Men's Kabaddi team earned a bronze medal, which was shared with Bangladesh. The multi-sport event took place from April 18th to 29th, featuring participants from across the Asian region. Both medal-winning contingents returned to the island on the night of April 29th, where they were greeted at Katunayake Airport by officials from the Sports Ministry, Tri-forces sports divisions, and their families.
