Sri Lanka Schools Allow Protective Clothing Amidst Dengue Surge

The Ministry of Education in Sri Lanka has directed all school principals to permit students to wear clothing covering their arms and legs over their regular uniforms. This directive aims to protect schoolchildren from dengue mosquito bites as the country faces a significant surge in cases. Principals have also been instructed to encourage students to use quality mosquito repellents. The decision follows reports indicating that dengue cases this year have surpassed 68,000.
