Sri Lanka Police have announced a temporary procedure for obtaining Police Clearance Certificates due to the deactivation of their online data system for essential maintenance. Applicants are instructed to visit the official police website, www.police.lk, to download the necessary application form. Once completed, the application, along with required documents like the National Identity Card, passport, and birth certificate, can be submitted at their nearest police station until the online system is restored. The Police Clearance Division in Battaramulla will continue to manage applications and printing under this interim arrangement.
