Sri Lanka is set to host its First National Research Conference on Youth Development on September 16-17. This significant event is a joint initiative by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and the Open University of Sri Lanka, aiming to identify and harness the potential of the nation's youth for sustainable development. A Memorandum of Understanding formalizing the collaboration was signed by Ministry Secretary Aruna Bandara and Open University Vice-Chancellor Senior Professor P.M.C. Thilakaratne. The conference, which will feature expert dialogues, is scheduled to be held under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya at the National Water Supply and Drainage Board auditorium in Ratmalana.
