Amidst prevailing adverse weather conditions and heavy rainfall, the National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) has issued landslide early warnings across multiple districts in Sri Lanka. Red notices, signifying the highest alert level, have been specifically declared for areas such as Deraniyagala, Ruwanwella, and Dehiowita in Kegalle, and Ayagama, Kuruvita, and Eheliyagoda in Ratnapura. Additionally, Level 2 warnings are in effect for Galle, Kalutara, and Ratnapura districts, with Level 1 warnings for Badulla, Kandy, Kegalle, Kurunegala, Matale, Matara, Monaragala, and Nuwara Eliya.
