This policy framework aims to offer scientific and sustainable guidelines and recommendations to address the challenges faced by Sri Lanka's youth and fulfil their future aspirations. The policy is scheduled to be finalised and implemented by the first quarter of 2027. Dr. Amarasuriya made these remarks on September 16 at the 1st National Research Symposium on Youth Development, an event jointly organised by the Open University of Sri Lanka and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
