Additionally, MoUs were sanctioned for immigration regulatory cooperation with China and youth exchange programs with India's National Cadet Corps. The approvals also cover a global health research project on violence against women and children in partnership with the United Kingdom, and tourism and educational exchanges with China.

Thailand has approved a framework targeting an initial 10,000 Sri Lankan workers, incorporating controls for recruitment, health checks, employment contracts, and repatriation to curb human trafficking and illegal employment.
