Sri Lanka Announces 2027 Examination Dates for Key School Assessments

The Department of Examinations has officially announced the dates for several major school examinations scheduled for 2027. The Grade 5 Scholarship Examination will be conducted on August 1, 2027. Following this, the G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) Examination is slated to take place from August 3 to August 28, 2027. The General Information Technology (GIT) Examination is scheduled for October 24, 2027, with the G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination set to be held from December 7 to December 17, 2027. This schedule was announced on August 24, 2026.
