Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya met with the Pakistan High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Major General (Retd) Nayyar Naseer, at the Temple Trees premises on April 30th. During the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed her gratitude for the continued support and assistance provided by the Pakistan government, specifically regarding relief efforts following the Ditwah Cyclone. Both officials reaffirmed the longstanding, cordial, and friendly relations between the two nations, highlighting the/the importance of enhancing cooperation in areas such as education, tourism, and sports.
