Maldivian President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu is on a three-day official visit to Sri Lanka. The MoUs, covering cooperation in health, sports, tourism, education, and defence, were exchanged at the Presidential Secretariat. The Maldives Minister of Foreign Affairs was involved in exchanging the MoU on Tourism Cooperation. President Dr. Muizzu was accorded a formal state reception at the Presidential Secretariat, which included an escort by the Police Mounted Division and full state honours and a gun salute.
