Sri Lankan cabinet approval had previously been granted for these understandings.

Sri Lanka's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism, Wijitha Herath, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding on health services with Belarus. Minister Herath met with Belarusian Health Minister Alexander Khajayev to discuss expanding cooperation and also visited the Belarusian State Medical University in Minsk.
