A Bolero-type vehicle veered off the Nuwara Eliya main road and overturned onto a house in the Kirimetiya area around 11 PM on April 25th. The incident occurred while the vehicle was traveling from Nanuoya towards Nanuoya Kirimetiya, specifically on the route via Talawakelle Desford. Nanuoya Police reported that the accident was caused by the vehicle traveling at high speed when its brake system suddenly failed. As a result, three individuals – the driver and two front passengers – sustained injuries. Both the vehicle and the house involved in the crash also suffered damage.
