Retired Air Vice Marshal Appointed Commissioner General of Motor Traffic

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the appointment of Retired Air Vice Marshal Thushara Indunil Fernando as the new Commissioner General of Motor Traffic. This appointment, effective immediately, fills a position that had been vacant. Fernando has been appointed on a contract basis. The decision followed a proposal submitted by the Minister of Transport, Highways and Urban Development.
