Fraudsters are reportedly using specific DRP phone numbers, including +94 11 52 26 126, +011 52 26 126, 077 11 67 739, and 074 27 56 098, to collect personal information. They are also creating a mobile application that misuses the state emblem to appear legitimate and solicit data for a digital or e-National ID. The DRP reiterates that it has not commenced any such digital ID registration process.
