Private Bus Services Gradually Increasing Across Sri Lanka

Private bus services across Sri Lanka are operating at an increased capacity of 50-60% today, following earlier limitations. The Lanka Private Bus Owners' Association (LPBOA) President, Gemunu Wijeratne, confirmed this development. He further stated that private bus operations are anticipated to return to normal levels by tomorrow, April 17th. This follows a period of reduced services, including approximately 30% operation on April 15th, as the sector gradually scales up its island-wide presence.
