Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya Undertakes Religious Visits to Kataragama and Munneswaram

Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya recently engaged in religious observances at two significant locations across Sri Lanka. On April 23rd, she attended a special blessing pooja at the historic Munneswaram Shiva Kovil in Chilaw, coinciding with its annual festival. Subsequently, on April 26th, the Prime Minister visited the sacred city of Kataragama. During her visit, she paid homage at the Kiriwehera Rajamaha Viharaya, met with the Chief Incumbent, and participated in the evening pooja at the Vishnu Kataragama Maha Devalaya, receiving blessings at both sites.
