Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya departed for the United Kingdom on May 18 to attend a high-level meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States. She left Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) at approximately 1:20 p.m. aboard SriLankan Airlines flight UL 403, accompanied by a two-member delegation. The delegation is scheduled to conclude their visit and return to Sri Lanka on May 23.
