The President's Fund has launched a scholarship program to support the children of low-income lottery sales assistants, recognizing their contribution to the fund. The inaugural ceremony for this initiative took place in Anuradhapura, North Central Province, on August 23rd, under the patronage of Speaker Jagath Wickramaratne. Minister Susil Ranasinghe and President’s Fund Secretary Roshan Gamage also attended the event. This program, commencing from 2026, aims to provide educational scholarships for students from Grade 1 to A/L across all provinces.
