Presidential Secretariat Hosts Hindu Clergy to Discuss Community Issues and National Harmony

Hindu religious leaders from across Sri Lanka met at the Presidential Secretariat today to discuss community concerns and national issues. A delegation representing Hindu priests from the highlands raised specific challenges related to temple administration, Dhamma schools, and priest welfare. In separate discussions, leaders from Colombo, Batticaloa, and Jaffna also conveyed their blessings for the government's initiatives aimed at fostering peace, reconciliation, and eradicating the drug menace. The religious figures also voiced their opposition to any efforts that promote racial division based on religion or culture.
