Presidential Fund Initiative Provides Free Spectacles and Hearing Aids to University Students

The Presidential Fund has launched a program to provide free spectacles and hearing aids to university students, with the first distribution event held today at Rajarata University. The initiative includes free eye examinations and the provision of necessary lenses, and is being implemented with support from the private sector. According to Roshan Gamage, Senior Additional Secretary to the President and Secretary of the Presidential Fund, the program plans to distribute donated spectacle frames to school children, university students, technical college students, and low-income citizens.
