President Dissanayake Launches Nationwide Rallies to Strengthen NPP and Engage Public

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is launching a nationwide series of public rallies, commencing on September 6th, with the stated goal of strengthening the National People's Power (NPP) organization at electorate and village levels. The campaign also aims to engage directly with active party members to address their concerns and to inform the public about the government's future plans. This initiative includes reorganizing party structures down to the Grama Niladhari ward level. The initial rallies will take place in Beruwala and Bulatsinhala in the Kalutara district, followed by events in Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura, Matara, and Gampaha throughout September.
