President Dissanayake Appoints New Chairperson and Members to Finance Commission

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has overseen recent appointments to two significant state bodies. On July 9th, S. A. Nimal Saranathissa was appointed as the new Chairperson of the Public Service Commission, alongside several other members including B. Sanath Poojitha and Dr. S. A. A. N. Jayasekara. Subsequently, on July 20th, N. R. Anees was appointed as the new Chairperson of the Finance Commission, with J. M. C. J. Wijetunga and K. Karunaharan named as other members. The letters of appointment for both commissions were presented by Presidential Secretary Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake at the Presidential Secretariat, filling positions that became vacant due to the conclusion of prior terms.
