During a meeting on July 17th at the Presidential Secretariat, the President reviewed progress on 2026 Budget allocations for the Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education. It was revealed that Rs. 20 billion was allocated for vocational education within the ministry's Rs. 303 billion budget for 2026. The President affirmed the government's readiness to allocate necessary funding for vocational education in the upcoming 2027 Budget, also noting the importance of increasing student enrollment in vocational institutions.
