President Calls for Strategic Paddy Reserves Amid Climate Risks

Speaking at a discussion on Yala season paddy purchase plans on Wednesday, the 23rd, the President highlighted that these reserves require special attention beyond routine processes. He also addressed concerns regarding unsold paddy stocks from last year's Yala season that have not yet been adequately released to the market. The President further instructed officials to allocate necessary funds for the current Yala season's paddy procurement and to develop plans considering potential climate impacts.
