President Appoints New Chief Secretaries for Sabaragamuwa and Eastern Provinces

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has appointed new Chief Secretaries for both the Sabaragamuwa and Eastern Provinces. On June 23, J. M. U. K. Jayasekera, a Special Grade officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service, was appointed Chief Secretary for Sabaragamuwa Province, having previously served as Secretary to various ministries of the Uva Provincial Council. Separately, on July 8, Kumarasingam Kunanathan was appointed Chief Secretary for the Eastern Province, previously holding roles such as Secretary to the Eastern Province Ministry of Education. Both letters of appointment were handed over by President's Secretary Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake at the Presidential Secretariat.
