Police Seize Kerosene, Arrest Conductor on Private Bus in Wellawaya

Wellawaya Police have intercepted a private bus operating on the Colombo-Monaragala route, following a tip-off regarding illegal transport. During the raid, officers discovered and seized 100 litres of kerosene being transported without authorization. The bus conductor was arrested in connection with the incident. He is expected to be presented before the Wellawaya Magistrate's Court, as Wellawaya Police continue further investigations into the matter.
