PM Harini Amarasuriya: True Leadership is Service, Not Power

Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya stated that true leadership is defined by responsibility, compassion, and service to others, rather than by titles or power. She made these remarks while attending the President’s Guide Award and Prime Minister’s Award Ceremony, organized by the Sri Lanka Girl Guides Association at Temple Trees in Colombo. During the event, 350 awards were presented, including 338 President’s Guide Awards and 12 Prime Minister’s Guide Awards, recognizing the discipline and commitment of young recipients. The ceremony aimed to empower girls and young women in Sri Lanka.
