Addressing the theme "Shaping the Future of Education in 21st Century Sri Lanka and Beyond," she emphasized the urgent need for transformative education reforms. These reforms must go beyond mere curriculum revisions to effectively tackle inequality and the challenges posed by artificial intelligence. The Prime Minister also highlighted the importance of strengthening digital literacy and online safety for students. The lecture, attended at the invitation of the Bishop of Colombo, Rt. Rev. Dushantha Rodrigo, also touched upon Sri Lanka's tradition of multi-faith collaboration.
