Physiotherapist Found Dead in Car; Boyfriend Suspected, Travel Ban Issued

A physiotherapist attached to Ampara General Hospital was discovered deceased inside a parked car near Teldeniya hospital on June 17th. Investigators suspect strangulation as the cause of her death. Police are actively searching for the victim's boyfriend, who is considered the prime suspect in the murder. The couple had reportedly stayed at a hotel in Nuwara Eliya prior to the incident, and an overseas travel ban has been issued against the suspect. Authorities have appealed for public assistance to locate the suspect, identified as Jayasundara Mudiyanselage Champika Sriyan Jayasundara, who may be attempting to conceal his identity.
