Patient Arrested for Alleged Harassment of Doctor at Kalutara Nagoda Hospital

Police have arrested a patient at Kalutara Nagoda Hospital on charges of sexually harassing a female doctor. The incident reportedly occurred while the doctor was checking the patient's blood pressure. According to police, the patient allegedly touched the doctor's chest area during the initial examination. After the doctor warned of a police complaint, the harassment reportedly reoccurred during a subsequent attempt to check his blood pressure. The suspect had been transferred to Nagoda Hospital for further treatment after initially receiving care at Matugama Pimbura Hospital. He remains under police custody within the hospital premises.
