Panadura Businessman Abducted in Family Presence, Found Near Cemetery

A prominent businessman in Panadura was abducted by an unidentified group on the night of September 29th while returning home with his wife and two daughters. The attackers, travelling in another vehicle, reportedly smashed the windows of his car near his residence before taking him. The businessman was later found abandoned near the Minuwanpitiya cemetery. While his daughters were unharmed, his wife sustained a knee injury and was admitted to Panadura Base Hospital. Panadura South Police are investigating the incident.
