Nine individuals have been arrested in connection with a homicide that occurred in the Gemunupura area of Mattakkuliya. The incident, where a person was fatally attacked with sharp weapons, took place on the night of March 31. Following an investigation by the Mattakkuliya Police, the suspects were apprehended on April 2. The arrested individuals, aged between 19 and 40, are residents of the Mattakkuliya area and are scheduled to be presented before the Aluthkade Magistrate's Court today, April 3. Further investigations are ongoing.
